Boyarintsev assessed the prospects for Sokol’s entry into the RPL
The head coach of the Saratov Sokol, Denis Boyarintsev, spoke about the team’s chances of entering the RPL WORLD following the results of the MELBET First League season.
After nine rounds, Sokol ranks second in the First League standings with 17 points. The team is three points behind the leading Alania.
— The task is to conduct the first part of the championship well. There’s no point in getting your hopes up about RPL just yet. Our tasks are now more mundane. You understand that this is a debut team. I would like to gain a foothold in the league. This is the most realistic and correct task. Saratov is a football city. Maybe in the future a more serious task will be set,” Boyarintsev told the Championship.
