Leonid Slutsky was suspended from football for a year and fined 100 thousand rubles for statements in a YouTube show

The Ethics Committee of the Russian Football Union (RFU) fined coach Leonid Slutsky 100 thousand rubles, and also banned the specialist from carrying out any football-related activities for a suspended period of 1 year.
Slutsky, who is a member of the RFU national teams committee, received this punishment for public statements on a YouTube show.
— In connection with violations of Art. by member of the RFU national teams committee Leonid Slutsky. 8 of the RFU ethics regulations, in accordance with Art. 4 of the RFU ethics regulations, apply sanctions to Leonid Slutsky in the form of a fine in the amount of 100,000 rubles and a suspended ban on any football-related activities for a period of 1 year, the RFU statement says.
