Former Spartak footballer Yegor Titov ruled out the possibility that a player from his generation who played for the “red and whites” would decide to move to CSKA.
Midfielder Jesus Medina became the first player in 29 years to move from the army club to Spartak.
— Could you imagine that Andrei Valerievich Tikhonov could go to CSKA?
– Yes, I would strangle him myself. I would have known by now if he had even thought about it. I can say for every football player of my generation: they didn’t even think about such a transition. It was necessary for something to change in my head, it’s impossible to imagine,” Titov told RB Sport.
