“Probably Khokhlov did not have enough experience” – Tarkhanov on the resignation of the Sochi head coach
Russian coach Alexander Tarkhanov admitted that the reason for Dmitry Khokhlov’s resignation from Sochi was a lack of experience.
Khokhlov has held the position of head coach of the Sochi team since April of this year. Under the leadership of the 47-year-old specialist, the team played 19 matches, in which they won five victories, suffered 13 defeats, and drew once. The Sochi coaching staff was headed by Alexander Tochilin.
– I don’t know what went wrong with Khokhlov at Sochi. He probably didn’t have enough experience. Then management will draw its conclusions. I don’t think the club will fight for survival. Tochilin knows the team well, it will be easier for him to adapt,” RB Sport quotes Tarkhanov as saying.
