The German Football Association is close to an official agreement with the 36-year-old specialist Giuliano Nagelsmann on his appointment as head coach of the German national team. The details of the contract are currently being discussed; the German will have to accept a salary reduction.
Nagelsmann led Bayern from the summer of 2021 to the spring of 2023. Under his leadership, the Munich team won the Bundesliga and two German Super Cups.
