Zenit loaned Bakaev to a club from the UAE
Zenit midfielder Zelimkhan Bakaev moved to the UAE club Al-Wahda, reports the press service of the St. Petersburg team.
The clubs agreed to transfer the 27-year-old football player on loan until the end of the season without the right to buy.
Bakaev moved to Zenit last summer after leaving Spartak Moscow. As part of the “blue-white-blue”, he played 34 matches, scored three goals and made three assists, became the champion of Russia and a two-time winner of the country’s Super Cup.
Al-Wahda scored three points in two matches of the new UAE Championship season.
