Former Russian national team player Alexander Mostovoy said that Spartak head coach Guillermo Abascal complains too much in the press.

Head coach of the “red-whites” Guillermo Abascal on Saturday explained why Litvinov was not in the lineup for the RPL match with Sochi. According to him, “before being sent to the national team, the player had an injury, which the club knew and talked about, nevertheless he played 90 minutes” for the national team. Later, the team’s senior doctor, Vladimir Khaitin, told Match TV that the team had not received any requests or recommendations to remove Litvinov from training. After the game, Abascal said: “I have a message from the national team’s physical training coach, Kasais.” Karpin told Match TV that “we are ready to raise any correspondence” and there is documentary evidence for everything.

— Abaskal began to complain too much. Today it is the head coach of the national team who is to blame, tomorrow it is the referee who showed the yellow card early. It’s time for the Spaniard to learn to take responsibility for the team’s failures and complain less in the press. Guillermo is somehow too nervous, he needs to relax,” RB Sport quotes Mostovoy as saying.

After eight rounds of the WORLD RPL, Spartak is in sixth place in the standings, gaining 13 points.

Live broadcasts of MIR RPL matches can be watched on the Match TV and MATCH PREMIER TV channels, as well as on the websites matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru.
