Rostov defeated Rubin in a penalty shootout in the Russian Football Cup match

“Rostov” beat “Rubin” in the match of the 4th round of the group stage of the RPL FONBET Russian Cup Path.
The main time of the match ended with the score 1:1. German Ignatov scored for Rostov (27th minute), and Marat Apshatsev scored for Rubin (49th minute). And in the penalty shootout the Rostov players were more accurate – 4:2.
“Rostov” scored 8 points and took first place in Group B. “Rubin” with 4 points remained in last place in the quartet.
In the fifth round of the group stage of the Russian Cup, Rubin will play away against Ural on October 3, and Rostov will meet Lokomotiv away on the same day.
