An original version of the Lev Yashin prize appeared in the Dynamo Museum

The collection of the Dynamo football club museum was supplemented by the original version of the Lev Yashin prize, the press service of the “blue and white” reports.
The award was established by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics in 2000, when the legendary Soviet football player was recognized as the best goalkeeper of the past century. The prize was presented to the wife of the famous goalkeeper Valentina Timofeevna Yashina in Bern (Switzerland).
Now the award is placed in the Hall of Fame of the Dynamo Museum.
Lev Yashin is the only goalkeeper in history to receive the Golden Ball. The goalkeeper played for the Dynamo main team from 1950 to 1970, becoming the 1956 Olympic champion as a member of the USSR national team.
