Bayer beat Hecken in the Europa League

The German Bayer beat the Swedish Hecken in a match of the first round of the group stage of the Europa League.

The Group H meeting took place in Leverkusen and ended with a score of 4:0. The German team scored goals from Florian Wirtz (10), Amine Adli (16), Victor Boniface (66) and Jonas Hofmann (70).

In the next round, Leverkusen will play with the Norwegian Molde away on October 5, and Hecken will play a match with Karabakh (Azerbaijan) on the same day.

In other matches, Qarabag won at home over Molde (1:0), Villarreal lost away to Panathinaikos (0:2), Rennes defeated Maccabi Haifa at home (3:0 ), Slavia Prague beat Servette away (2:0), and the Belgian Union drew at home with Toulouse (1:1).
