“Roma” defeated “Sheriff” on the road in the Europa League group stage match

Italian Roma beat Moldavian Sheriff in the match of the 1st round of the group stage of the Europa League.
The Roman club won away on Thursday with a score of 2:1. Leandro Paredes (45+2 minutes) and Romelu Lukaku (65 minutes) scored goals for the winners. Sheriff scored a goal from Christian Tovar (57th). At the end of the meeting, home midfielder Paulo João was sent off from the field.
The teams compete in Group G, where Slavia and Servette also play.
Earlier, the media reported that former Zenit striker Serdar Azmun was not included in Roma’s squad for the tournament.
