Press officer of the Tajikistan Football Federation Faridun Saliev talked about the upcoming development tournament of UEFA in Minsk, as well as on the topic of participation of Russian clubs and national teams in international competitions.
Development Tournament of UEFA in Minsk it will be held with the participation of the youth teams of Russia, Belarus, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. Teams born in 2009 and younger participate. We were invited by the Belarusian Football Federation. For our team, the upcoming tournament is a preparation stage for the qualifying round of the 2025 Asian Cup (U17), which will be held in the autumn of next year. U15 teams participate in Minsk.
Football is beyond politics! We believe that Russian teams and clubs should participate in tournaments under the auspices of of UEFA AND FIFA.
