Russian coach Valery Gladilin suggested why CSKA cannot win five rounds of the RPL in a row.
The capital club ranks 9th in the RPL WORLD table, gaining 13 points in 9 rounds.
— In Rostov, CSKA showed character and pulled out a tough game.
“Both teams needed a win, so I don’t think anyone was happy with the result.” And the game itself turned out to be combative. Rostov started the meeting actively, took the lead, and then things began to calm down. CSKA leveled the game and equalized the score. It was a draw according to the deal.
— In the last five rounds, the army team did not win a single victory. What are the reasons?
“Something isn’t going well for them.” The game is not completed yet, or luck has run out. Somewhere they started making a lot of mistakes in defense. Usually defense was the basis for CSKA led by Akinfeev. And then to miss three goals in harmless situations… Something broke there. There are problems in defense.
— “Krasnodar” remained the leader of the championship. Now the “bulls” are no longer perceived as a temporary phenomenon on the first line of the table?
— If all the contenders for gold medals are stalling, then Krasnodar clearly takes the points, and therefore is the leader of the championship. If you don’t lose them, then everything will be fine. And we need to look at our rivals, who should already be getting involved in the race and gaining points.
— Will “Wings of the Soviets” stay in the leading group for a long time? The team is in second place after nine rounds.
— Many guys there are purely psychologically not ready to fight for high places. If they stay in the top six, it will be a great result for them,” Euro-Futbol.Ru quotes Gladilin.
