“Rotor” beat “Alania” in the Russian Cup, “Rodina” defeated “Textilshchik” away

Volgograd “Rotor” beat Vladikavkaz “Alania” in the fourth round match of the FONBET Regional Path of the Russian Football Cup.

The meeting took place in Volgograd and ended with a score of 1:0. The only goal was scored from a free kick in the 70th minute by Rizvan Akhmedkhanov.

In a parallel match, Moscow’s “Rodina” defeated Ivanovo’s “Textilshchik” – 3:1. Maxim Turishchev scored a double for the winners, and Ivan Timoshenko scored another goal. Nikita Simdyankin scored for the hosts.

In another meeting, Arsenal Tula on the road turned out to be stronger than the Leon-Saturn club near Moscow – 2:1. Roman Shirokov’s team was able to respond to Dmitry Barkov’s double only with an accurate strike from Dmitry Michurenkov.

“Rotor”, “Rodina” and “Arsenal” have reached the fifth round of the Regional Path of the Russian Cup, the matches of which will be held on October 17–19. Their opponents will be determined after a draw. “Alania”, “Textilshchik” and “Saturn” finished their performance in the tournament.
