Mario Fernandez said that he would never say a single bad word about CSKA

Brazilian defender Mario Fernandez, who moved to Zenit in the summer of 2022, spoke about his attitude towards CSKA.

Fernandez signed a contract with Zenit in the off-season. Previously, he defended the colors of CSKA, with which he became a three-time Russian champion, winner of the country’s Cup and Super Cup.

– Remember an incident in your life – before this summer – when you realized: the world is cruel and unfair?

— To be honest, there have been no examples of such injustice before. The situation with CSKA showed me this for the first time.

— The moment when you were happiest in Russia?

– At the World Championships.

— What would you like to be said about you in five years?

— So that the fans treat me with respect. This is what I really want.

— Do you still have a grudge against CSKA?

“I repeat: no one will ever hear a single bad word from me about CSKA,” Sport24 quotes Fernandez as saying.

At the moment, Zenit occupies third place in the Russian Football Championship standings, with 17 points after nine rounds.
