Forward Wilson Izidor said that he did not betray Lokomotiv Moscow, having decided to sign a contract with Zenit St. Petersburg.

During the summer transfer window, Zenit rented Izidor from Lokomotiv Moscow until the end of the season. The Frenchman scored a goal in his debut match – he scored a goal in the eighth round game of the WORLD Russian Premier League (RPL) with Rubin Kazan (3:0).

– No, there was no betrayal. I saw that many Loko fans were angry with me, but I think not everyone understands the situation. I don’t know why Loko rejected the other offers. As a result, the transfer to Zenit was a successful deal for Loko, and I had to think about my career because I wanted to play,” Izidor told the Championship.

Izidor moved to Lokomotiv from Monaco in the winter of 2022. During this time, the footballer took part in 42 matches, in which he was able to score 19 goals and give seven assists.
