Former head coach of Amkar Perm Gadzhi Gadzhiev believes that defender Georgy Dzhikia is capable of playing on the defensive flank for Spartak Moscow.

Dzhikia has been playing for the “red-whites” since 2017, before which he defended the colors of “Amkar”.

— Dzhikiya came to me at Amkar as a full-back. He was originally in this position. We started playing Georgiy as a central defender because we believed that he had the necessary qualities to play in this position. Now Spartak is playing with a combination of central defenders Duarte and Babich, because of this Dzhikia is now a substitute.
