Deputy General Director of Yaroslavl “Shinnik” Boris Nikonorov said whether he considers the club’s entry into the RPL WORLD realistic.
In the current season of the MELBET First League, Yaroslavl under the leadership of Dmitry Khomukha occupy third place in the standings with 19 points after 11 rounds, two points behind the second Makhachkala Dynamo.
— How realistic is it to reach the RPL?
– If we judge within the framework of the sporting principle, then I think this is quite realistic. Another thing is that our stadium will not pass licensing and will not receive the RFU-1 category, necessary for participation in the Premier League. I will say that we are working hard on this, we are in constant contact with the leadership of the region, which supports us, and is present at every home match,” Metaratings.ru quotes Nikonorov as saying.
