“Everything about Golovin is elegant, he always keeps the ball” – Dynamo football player Skopintsev

Dynamo Moscow footballer Dmitry Skopintsev said that Monaco midfielder Alexander Golovin differs from other players in his work with advancing and retaining the ball.

Golovin and Skopintsev held a training camp in September as part of the Russian national team.

— Alexander Golovin is a man from Europe. Were you interested in training with him?

– Yes, he differs in his work with moving the ball forward. Everything about him is elegant, he always keeps the ball. I even remember how in the game with Qatar I gave him some kind of awkward pass, he was surrounded by three people, but he got out from under pressure and passed it back to me. This is the quality of keeping the ball. “He makes a difference compared to other players,” RB Sport quotes Skopintsev as saying.

Golovin has been playing for Monaco since the summer of 2018. This season, the 27-year-old footballer played six matches in the French championship, scored two goals and made one assist.
