Sochi suffered its fifth consecutive defeat in the RPL, losing to Fakel

“Sochi” lost away to “Fakel” in the match of the 10th round of the MIR Russian Premier League (MIR RPL).
The meeting took place in Voronezh and ended with a score of 2:0 in favor of the hosts. Evgeniy Markov (43, from the penalty spot) and Vyacheslav Yakimov (47) scored for Fakel.
Sochi suffered its fifth defeat in the RPL in a row and is in last, 16th place in the table with 6 points. The last time the southerners won was on August 19 in a match with Rostov (4:0).
The Voronezh team broke a four-match winless streak and rose to 14th place with 8 points.
In the next round, Sochi will host Zenit on October 7, and Fakel will play against Dynamo a day later in Moscow.
