Liverpool have released an official statement regarding the officiating of the 7th round match nuclear submarine against Tottenham.
The Club notes that PGMOL admitted its mistakes the previous evening. It is clear that the correct application of the rules did not happen yesterday. Because of this, the game’s integrity has been called into question.
We understand that there is pressure that referees have to deal with. But the system VAR helps reduce this pressure. We are therefore not satisfied that sufficient time was not given to make the right decision and that there was no further action.

After seven rounds, Tottenham are in 2nd place in the table, Liverpool in 4th.
