Arsenal lost to Lens in the Champions League away match, scoring first

London Arsenal lost away to Lens in the match of the 2nd round of the group stage of the Champions League.
The Group B meeting took place in France and ended with the hosts winning with a score of 2:1. The London club opened the scoring in the 14th minute of the match thanks to a precise strike from Gabriel Jesus. Then Adrian Thomasson and Elje Vai scored for Lens.
This victory was Lens’s first in the Champions League. In the next match, the French will play at home with PSV on October 24, Arsenal will visit Sevilla.
