Nikita Kovalchuk: “Football doesn’t feed me”

Sports Director of the Arisa Academy Nikita Kovalchuk explained why he continues to blog on YouTube.

Why am I still blogging? Because football doesn’t feed me. There is a large income difference between adults and children. I have two children, a family that needs to be supported in another country. Plus I didn’t get tired. I continue to experience the thrill of my work in front of the camera.

I can still, roughly speaking, send all the football, go to Bali, create more content, sell advertising and exist in peace. But now I reject all advertisers except the main partner. My focus is football coaching, I have to be there.

To stop posting videos, I probably shouldn’t have the moral right to talk on YouTube the way I talk now. The manager of a professional football team cannot say that “Arteta sucked”. And not for business ethics. I just understand much better how many different things affect it. Maybe when I realize I’m becoming boring or making excuses for someone, then I’ll stop.

In principle, as I said before, there is a plan. If I had ended up in Germany, the plan would have been implemented this year.

The discussion about tightening the limit in the RPL is not over – Dyukov

Discussion of a possible tightening of the limit for foreign players in the Russian Premier League (RPL) is not finished yet. The president of the Russian Football Federation told journalists this (RFU) Alexander Diukov.

The Ministry of Sports proposes to tighten the limit for foreign players by 2028 according to the “10 foreign players in the application, 5 on the field” scheme.

“The Ministry gave the football community, experts and specialists the opportunity to talk openly about this issue. As far as I understand, the discussion process continues,” Dyukov said.

According to the current limit, clubs RPL can include 13 foreign players in the application and release 8 foreign players on the field. In September, the Russian Football Federation said that the current limit allows for the first time to increase the playing time of young players to 18%.
