Zenit beat Sochi and rose to third place in the RPL

St. Petersburg Zenit defeated Sochi in the match of the 11th round of the Russian Football Championship.
The meeting in Sochi ended with a score of 2:0, the goals were scored by Claudinho (9th minute, from the penalty spot) and Mateo Cassierra (30).
Sergei Semak’s team, which lost its last two matches in the RPL, scored 20 points and rose to third place in the table. The Sochi team, having suffered their ninth defeat in a row in all tournaments and their sixth in the championship, are last with six points. The leader is Krasnodar (24), which will play against Rostov later on Saturday.
In the next round, Zenit will host Krylya Sovetov Samara, Sochi will play away with Ural Yekaterinburg.
