Referee Sergei Tsyganok overturned the decision to award a penalty against Orenburg in the 11th round match of the MIR RPL against Kaliningrad Baltika.
The home team’s forward Gedeon Guzina fell while fighting for the ball in the visitors’ penalty area with Kirill Kaplenko. The referee first pointed to the spot and then used VAR to overturn the initial decision in the 40th minute.
