“I don’t rule out a change of coach at Spartak after the game with CSKA. The club taught us that anything can happen” – Ledyakhov
Former Spartak footballer Igor Ledyakhov did not rule out that the head coach of the “red-whites” Guillermo Abascal may leave his post after the match with CSKA.
On Sunday, Spartak will host the army club in the match of the 11th round of the MIR Russian Premier League (RPL). In the last two games, Abaskal’s team lost to Krylia Sovetov (0:4) in the RPL and to Dynamo in the FONBET Russian Cup (0:3).
— It’s difficult to predict how the match will turn out, especially when Spartak and CSKA are playing. Both teams are not in the best condition. We must not forget that this is a derby and all problems fade into the background. I hope Spartak wins.
— Could this match be the last for Abascal or Fedotov?
– Yes, two coaches have had a bad run. I don’t think these teams will make any drastic moves. No changes are expected until December. I don’t think there is any point in changing coaches. Although Spartak taught us that anything can happen. I don’t rule out a change of coach in the near future,” RB Sport quotes Ledyakhov.
Watch the live broadcast of the meeting between Spartak and CSKA on October 8 from 18:00 (Moscow time) on the Match TV channel, as well as on the websites matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru.
