Medina’s goal in stoppage time brought Spartak a draw in the derby with CSKA
“Spartak” played a draw at home with CSKA in the match of the 11th round of the WORLD Russian Premier League (RPL).
The meeting took place at the Otkritie Arena and ended with a score of 2:2.
Quincy Promes (39) scored the goal for the red-whites, and Jesus Medina scored in stoppage time in the second half. For CSKA, defender Milan Gayich scored a double (31, 61), who was assisted twice by Ivan Oblyakov.
The Red and Whites are in sixth place in the RPL table with 17 points, while CSKA is in seventh place with the same number of points.
In the next round, the army team will play Rubin in Kazan on October 21, and Spartak will host PARI NN a day later.
