The “Best Man of the Match” award is awarded after each RPL game; the winners are selected jointly by the league and the MATCH PREMIER TV channel.
CSKA extended its unbeaten streak in the Russian Championship to six matches. Vladimir Fedotov’s team takes 7th place in the table with 17 points.

As part of the team, Karpin won the Intertoto Cup (2000). The Russian then moved to Real Sociedad, with whom he played 194 games from 2002 to 2005, scoring 37 goals and providing 9 assists.
