La Liga. Progress by Zakharyan, underdog in the top 3, Atlético further back
Real Madrid leads the Spanish league table and seems to have duty. But the presence of another team in the top three seems unusual: Girona unexpectedly jumped high at the start. The team earned a ticket to the elite division the penultimate season and finished in 10th place in the previous championship. This is an excellent result for a newcomer to a top league, but it is usually followed by a setback. “Girona” decided to consolidate its success and immediately enter the top five. By the way, Los Blancos have already won the class with them – and then Michel Sanchez’s gang will have to be tested by direct competitors: Athletic, Barça, Betis, Atlético and others.
The Catalans themselves, combined with the “mattress covers”, are located slightly lower. For now it seems more like a fake intrigue: they are only 1 and 3 points respectively behind Girona. In the delay, Sociedad continues to reduce the distance from the area Champions League. In the last season, the Basques experienced their best season and qualified for the main European Cup. The new championship started with three consecutive draws and one win in the first five games (5:3 with Granada).

The “Violets”, however, are on par with “Juventus”: with 17 points they are in 4th place, aiming for third (only the “Vecchia Signora” is in the middle).
Bundesliga. Bayer are leaders, Bayern are not even second
The “pharmacists” are having fun at the top of the Bundesliga until the current owner of the “salad bowl” wakes up. In the direct clash with Bayern, Xabi Alonso’s team earned a draw and did not drop any points in the remaining matches – but even so Stuttgart is somehow only 1 point behind (6 wins, one defeat).

League 1. Roller coaster in first place, strong start as underdogs
When the championship leader changes several times it is always beautiful. Especially in Ligue 1. Especially without PSG among shift workers. And the Parisians skid a lot at the start, giving them room to digress.
Monaco were the first to take advantage – Adolf Hütter’s team scored 11 points in their first 5 games – beat Clermont, Strasbourg and Lens, and shared points with Nantes and Lorient.
Then Nice mixed things up a bit, beating the Monegasques after the draw against Lorient, but in the following two rounds the team beat Marseille and Reims and climbed back to 1st place.
For one round, Brest established a dictatorship in Ligue 1, in the previous 4 seasons they were a middle peasant and an outsider in the French championship. At this point Eric Roy’s men are still in the area Champions Leagueand between them and “Monaco” – “Nice” and PSG. The former are unbeaten, but with 4 draws, the latter managed to drop points with Lorient, Toulouse and Clermont, and lost against Nice.
