Bilyaletdinov called on Spartak to give Abaskal a chance
Former Spartak midfielder Diniyar Bilyaletdinov called on the leadership of the Moscow club to give Spanish coach Guillermo Abascal a chance to correct the situation in the RPL.
On Sunday, the “red-whites” played a draw at home with CSKA in the match of the 11th round of the WORLD RPL (2:2), escaping defeat in stoppage time.
— There are no complaints about dedication to the Spartak players. If there was discord in the team, they would not have fought like that until the last minute in a match where little was going well. This gives hope that Abascal can still succeed. Of course, there is a crisis in Spartak, but the situation is not catastrophic. “Abaskal should be given another chance,” Bilyaletdinov told RB Sport.
“Spartak” with 17 points is in sixth place in the standings, 10 points behind the leading “Krasnodar”. Abaskal has been heading Spartak since June 2022.
