Former Russian national team player Vladimir Granat believes that defender Georgy Dzhikia should not leave Moscow Spartak, despite the decrease in the amount of playing time.

On Sunday, Spartak drew with CSKA in the match of the 11th round of the WORLD RPL with a score of 2:2. Jikia last played in the Russian Championship on September 2 in the 7th round match against Krasnodar (0:2). In the 2023/24 season, the defender played nine matches for Spartak.

— Dzhikia needs to wait until the end of his contract at Spartak. Still, he is the main player of the team, and he is called up to the national team. Tomorrow Georgiy will have a chance to prove himself and show that he is worthy of playing in the main team of Spartak.

Jikia has been called up to the Russian national team for matches with the teams of Cameroon and Kenya, which will be held on October 12 in Moscow and October 16 in Antalya, Turkey.
