“The country should know who is considered the main players” – Demenko on the selection of the Russian national team for the match with Kenya
Former Krasnodar player Maxim Demenko believes that the head coach of the Russian national team, Valery Karpin, should release the strongest players for the national team’s friendly match with Kenya.
The meeting will take place on October 16 in Turkey and will begin at 19:00 Moscow time.
– Karpin definitely needs to release the strongest. The country needs to know who is considered the main players, and who the coaching staff sees as substitutes. I understand that rotation is needed, but the fans should know who plays in the team in the first place. Although I don’t think this will happen, because the game will be at a hotel in Turkey and under such conditions it is predictable that there will be a lot of substitutions,” RB Sport quotes Demenko as saying.
