Former referee Mateu Lahoz could become RFEF president

A former referee could become the new president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) Mateu Laos.

According to the source, this candidacy is approved by the Spanish football authorities. The judge also has the non-public support of the strongest clubs in the country, referees, FIFALa Liga, the Supreme Sports Council and the presidents of some Spanish football federations.

The former referee has not yet commented on the information, but it is known that he intends to review the refereeing model, structure and independence, which the clubs really like.

Laos completed his refereeing career in the summer. In September he left the position of president of the RFEF Luis Rubiales.
