The Russian national team could win the match with Kenya, says Gadzhiev
The president of Dynamo Makhachkala Gadzhi Gadzhiev commented on the draw result of the friendly match between the Russian national team and Kenya, noting that Valery Karpin’s team could have won if there had been more time.
The meeting, held in Antalya, Turkey on Monday, ended with a score of 2:2.
— Karpin, of course, could replace half the team after the first half. But he probably didn’t want to.
You may be ashamed of the result, but mainly it should be your attitude towards the game. The result can be anything. Any team can play football. Consider that if some countries are from the bottom of the ranking, this does not mean that everyone should beat them. I remember when the Luxembourg team beat Germany 3:2, this is football, anything can happen here.
If you put on the national team jersey, you have to play to the limit of your strength. Such a game, aggressive and diligent, could only be seen at the end of the second half. If the game had continued for some more time, we could have won this match,” Euro-Futbol.Ru quotes Gadzhiev as saying.
On October 12, the Russian team beat the Cameroon team with a score of 1:0 in a friendly match in Moscow.
