The England team beat Italy and reached the final of Euro 2024

The England national football team defeated the Italian team at home in the qualifying round match for the 2024 European Championship.
The Group C meeting took place at Wembley Stadium and ended with a score of 3:1. For the winners, Harry Kane scored a double (32nd (from the penalty spot) and 77th minute), and Marcus Rashford scored one goal (57). Gianluca Scamacca (15) scored for the Italians.
The English have 16 points after six games and lead the group. Gareth Southgate’s team secured qualification to the Euro finals. The Italian team scored 10 points and is third.
In Group H, Denmark beat San Marino with a score of 2:1. Rasmus Højlund and Yussuf Poulsen scored for the Danes. Alessandro Golinucci scored a goal for the hosts, this was the first goal for San Marino in the current Euro 2024 qualifying tournament.
In a parallel match of this group, the Slovenians beat the Northern Ireland team away – 1:0. From the 58th minute, the hosts played in the minority after Shea Charles was sent off for a second yellow card.
Based on the results of eight rounds in Group H, the Slovenian team is in the lead (19), Denmark is second (19), and the Kazakhstan team is in third place (15). The Finns (12) are in fourth place, Northern Ireland (6) are fifth, San Marino (0) are sixth.
In Group G, the Hungarian team escaped defeat in the match with Lithuania (2:2), and Serbia beat Montenegro (3:1). The leader in the standings is Hungary, which scored 14 points, the second place is occupied by the Serbian national team (13 points), the third is Montenegro (8), which retains a mathematical chance of qualifying for Euro 2024.
