FIFA and the AFC did not allow the Palestinian national team to play matches in Algeria.
It was previously reported that the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) was ready to provide the Palestinian team with the opportunity to host matches, as well as provide financial assistance.
FIFA and the AFC reminded that, according to current legislation, the Palestinian national team must play in its area, i.e. in Asia.
