The ex-general director of Spartak believes that Abaskal, in the situation with Sobolev, could have limited himself to a fine
Former general director of Spartak Sergei Shavlo believes that the head coach of the red-and-whites, Guillermo Abascal, could have limited himself to a fine against forward Alexander Sobolev, rather than suspending the footballer from training.
Earlier, journalist Ivan Karpov reported that Abaskal, after the 10th round match of the MIR RPL with Krylya Sovetov (0:4), suspended Sobolev from training in the general group until his return from the Russian national team due to a violation of discipline. According to Match TV, Sobolev was suspended from training with the team after an emotional response to Abaskal’s claims, which the specialist presented in a harsh and insulting manner.
— First of all, for a more detailed conversation on this topic, you need to know the team’s routine and what rules are currently in force in this regard. If everyone’s presence is necessary, the decision in this matter rests with the team management. Probably, it would be possible to limit ourselves to only a fine, because training leads to an increase in the skill of a football player and this will lead to certain consequences.
I believe that after the situation with Dzhikia, Sobolev wanted to support him as a friend and could be under some influence from what was happening with Georgy. This happens often in football. The situation is really difficult, but for a more complete understanding you need to know about what is happening from within the team,” RT quotes Shavlo as saying.
On Sunday, Spartak will host PARI NN at their home stadium in the match of the 12th round of the WORLD RPL. After 11 rounds, the Moscow team scored 17 points and ranks sixth in the standings.
