Fakel players beat Orenburg in the opening match of the 12th round of the MIR Russian Premier League (RPL).
The meeting, which took place on Saturday at the stadium in Orenburg, ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of the guests. Ilnur Alshin (35th minute) and Nikita Motspan (90+2) scored for Fakel, and Dmitry Vorobyov (75) scored for Orenburg.
Fakel scored 12 points and rose to 11th place in the standings. Orenburg is 13th with 11 points.
In the next round, Orenburg will play away against Krylya Sovetov on October 28, and Fakel will host Spartak on the same day.
