Zenit midfielder Wendel was recognized as the best player in the match of the 12th round of the MIR RPL with Krylya Sovetov.
The team from St. Petersburg won at home with a score of 3:1. Wendel scored a double in this match.
Zenit scored 23 points and ranks second in the standings. Krylya Sovetov dropped to third place (21 points).
The “Best Player of the Match” award is awarded after each RPL game; the winners are selected jointly by the league and the MATCH PREMIER TV channel.
