Rostov defeated Akhmat and broke a streak of seven matches without a win in the RPL

“Rostov” beat Grozny’s “Akhmat” with a big score in the match of the 12th round of the MIR Russian Premier League (RPL).

The meeting took place in Rostov-on-Don and ended with a score of 3:0. Among the winners, Egor Golenkov (33rd minute), Maxim Osipenko (44) from the penalty spot and Mohammad Mohebbi (53) scored goals. Valery Karpin’s team broke a streak of seven matches without a win in the league. Miroslav Romashchenko’s team failed to win the fifth championship game in a row.

“Rostov” scored 13 points and rose to 10th place in the standings, “Akhmat” (12) is in 12th place.

In the next round, Rostov will host Lokomotiv Moscow, and Akhmat will play Zenit St. Petersburg on the road. Both meetings will take place on October 28.
