Rostov forward Egor Golenkov was recognized as the best football player in the match of the 12th round of the WORLD RPL against Akhmat Grozny.
The meeting, which took place on Sunday in Rostov-on-Don, ended with a score of 3:0 in favor of the hosts. Golenkov opened the scoring in the 34th minute, and in the 53rd minute he assisted Mohammad Mohebbi, who scored the Donetsk team’s third goal.
The “Best Man of the Match” award is awarded after each RPL game; the winners are selected jointly by the league and the MATCH PREMIER TV channel.
