Lyon lost to Clermont in the home match of the 9th round of the French championship.
The meeting ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of the guests. Muhammed Saracevic (10th minute) and Yoann Magnin (35 minutes) scored goals for the winners. Also, Clermont player Florent Ogier scored an own goal (52).
Clermont scored 5 points and rose to 17th place in the standings, ahead of Lyon (3 points). The seven-time French champion dropped to last place in the championship. Lyon remains the only team that has not won a single victory since the start of the Ligue 1 season.
