Russian coach Igor Shalimov spoke about the refereeing in the match of the 12th round of the WORLD RPL “Spartak” – “PARI NN”, and also appreciated the removal of Nizhny Novgorod defender and captain Kirill Gotsuk.
The match of the 12th round “Spartak” – “PARI NN” took place on October 22 and ended with a victory for the home team with a score of 2:0. Gotsuk was sent off in second-half stoppage time for a foul on Victor Moses.
– Regarding the controversial issue with the foul of the Spartak player, I will say this – there was a go-ahead signal, it was a foul, but this was not a VAR review. But Gotsuk also received a well-deserved second yellow card. It is clear that this is an element of struggle, the players do not do this on purpose, blocking the path to the ball, but in the end this leads to loud scandals,” RB Sport quotes Shalimov as saying.
