Ex-adviser Fedun called it a good idea to invite foreign referees to RPL matches
Franco Camozzi, ex-adviser to the former owner of Spartak Leonid Fedun, spoke about the initiative of the Russian Football Union (RFU) to cooperate in the field of refereeing with the football federations of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Belarus.
On Tuesday, on the “Rules of the Game” program on the MATCH PRIME channel, the chairman of the RFU refereeing committee, Pavel Kamantsev, announced the signing of an agreement on cooperation in the field of refereeing with the Saudi Arabian Football Federation. He also said that the RFU would soon conclude similar agreements with Belarus and Qatar.
— The participation of judges from Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Belarus in the RPL is a good idea. They will level up. At the same time, I don’t think that inviting referees from other countries will affect Russian judges,” Camozzi is quoted as saying by the Championship.
