The Russian national team remained in 39th place in the FIFA rankings after matches with Cameroon and Kenya

The Russian national team retained 39th place in the International Football Federation (FIFA) ranking, an updated version of which was published on the organization’s website on Thursday.

The national team has a total of 1497.63 points. Since September 21, the Russian team has scored 2.1 points in two friendly matches – with Cameroon in Moscow (1:0) and with Kenya in Turkey (2:2).

The FIFA ranking is topped by the Argentina national team (1851.41), which is the current world champion. The 2022 World Cup finalist France is in second place (1840.76), while the top three is completed by the Brazilian national team (1837.61).

Russian clubs and national teams have not taken part in tournaments under the auspices of FIFA and UEFA due to the situation in Ukraine since February 2022.
