Marseille defeated AEK in the Europa League match and took the lead in Group B

French Marseille beat Greek AEK in the group stage match of the Europa League.
The meeting, which took place on Thursday in France, ended in victory for the home team with a score of 3:1.
Vitinha (27th minute), Amine Arith (60th, penalty) and Jordan Veretout (69th, penalty) scored goals for the winners, while Orbelin Pineda (53rd) scored for AEK.
The Greek team played in the minority from the 57th minute after goalkeeper Citsan Stankovic was sent off.
Marseille scored 5 points and took the lead in Group B, beating AEK (4 points).
In other matches of the game day, Molde defeated Hecken (5:1), Rakow drew with Sporting (1:1), Freiburg beat the Backa Topola team (3:1), and “Sparta” parted ways with “Rangers” (0:0).
