The hearing on the case of the Aston Villa midfielder, on loan from Galatasaray, was held today. Nicolò Zaniolo.
The footballer arrived at the Turin Prosecutor’s Office and after the trial he quickly left the Palace of Justice building without making any comments. The player’s lawyers said Zaniolo answered all the questions, explained his position and made no objections to the prosecutor’s office. Nicolò admitted that he occasionally played card games on illegal sites, but that he did not place bets and no evidence was found that he placed bets.
The Italian Football Federation had previously confirmed the 10-month ban for the Newcastle midfielder. Sandro Tonali.
