“Abascal still doesn’t understand what to do with the team. “Spartak is moving on a confident path one division lower” – Guberniev
Spartak head coach Guillermo Abascal is unable to cope with the team, and the club’s management does not want to fire the Spaniard so as not to pay him a penalty, says Match TV commentator Dmitry Guberniev.
On Saturday, Spartak lost away to Fakel Voronezh with a score of 0:2 in the 13th round of the WORLD RPL. The Red and Whites occupy fourth place in the RPL table, gaining 20 points in 13 matches.
– The crocodile is not caught, the coconut does not grow. They cry and pray to God, sparing no tears. What else can I say. I am more amazed by the absolutely legendary management of the club. Apparently, Abaskal really has a very large penalty to expel him. If so, then management will hold out until the last minute so as not to pay it.
But this is good to cheer up the First League, as Spartak already did in the 70s. “Spartak” will lose match after match, they will drop a division lower and will raise interest in the First League. Apparently, this is part of the plan, Spartak’s strategy to support Russian football. In the RPL there is a wonderful Lokomotiv, Zenit, Krasnodar, there are plenty of good teams, and Spartak is moving steadily down the division below.
Abascal still doesn’t understand what to do with the team. Spartak has no forwards: some were loaned out, Sobolev has a conflict with the head coach, Meleshin is not up to the task. There are no defenders either, and there are few flank players. Slutsky and Rubin have already shown the way to the First League, they didn’t work out either, they flew out to hell, and then returned with another coach. So everything is fine with Spartak, everything is going according to plan. Surely the club plays Yegor Letov’s song “Everything is going according to plan.” Imagine, first Abaskal listened to “Civil Defense”, and then, like Ivan Vasilyevich in the famous film: “Eh, once again, and again, and many, many times more,” Guberniev told Match TV.
Abaskal took charge of Spartak last summer and led them to bronze medals at the Russian Championship last season.
