Ural Yekaterinburg midfielder Igor Dmitriev will miss the match of the 13th round of the MIR RPL with Dynamo Moscow due to the death of his mother, the press service of the football club reports.
The footballer’s mother, Svetlana Laukhova, was a ten-time Russian champion in hurdles and was 50 years old. In December 2022, at the age of 59, Igor’s father, former Zenit St. Petersburg striker Sergei Dmitriev, died.
— Terrible news came today for our midfielder Igor Dmitriev. His mother died. We express our most sincere condolences to our player. We are with you. Igor is urgently leaving home and will miss the match against Dynamo,” the message says.
Igor Dmitriev is a graduate of the Zenit Academy. His debut in the RPL with Ural took place on July 22, 2023.
