CSKA inflicted the first defeat on Krasnodar this RPL season
CSKA Moscow beat Krasnodar in the match of the 13th round of the Russian football championship.
The meeting at VEB Arena ended with a score of 1:0 in favor of the home team; Fedor Chalov scored a goal at the end of the first half, taking advantage of a pass from Abbosbek Faizullaev. Chalov (seven goals) is second only to Zenit forward Mateo Cassierra in the RPL scoring race.
For Krasnodar, this is the first defeat this season; Vladimir Ivich’s team retains the lead with 28 points. The Army team (21 points) are in fifth place in the standings. In the next round, the Krasnodar team will host Krylya Sovetov Samara, CSKA will play at home with PARIS NN. Both meetings will take place on November 5th.
